Away for what reason?
For me, a chance to take time out from a busy life to focus on God in a quiet, meaningful way. A day set aside to have fellowship with others, think about Bible verses, sing praises to God, giving thanks for all that he has done in the past year and to bring before him all that is to come, especially within church activities and family. Of course, the beautiful gardens and good food are a bonus.
